A news release from cce stated that the investment was for permitting the pet facility of appe in beaune, france, to encourage pet recycledcontent production at the plant with up to 70 percent, which is 48,000 metric tons of pet a year from about 28,000 metric tons a year. The joint venture also includes advanced recycling technologies&rsquo research and development, according to cce, which the recycling facility can utilize. The two companies are jointly investing about &euro9 million on the plan, which is 11.6 million us dollars.
