The limitededition retro designs will be used on tins of heinz beanz and heinz spaghetti. Heinz said it worked with brand realisation consultancy gilchrist on the designs. Heinz said it took the historic labels and worked with gilchrist to create a replica, with some added consumer messaging.
The vintage labels feature the slogan &lsquocelebrating the queen&rsquos diamond jubilee&rsquo as well as a frontofpack flash saying &lsquoheinz serving the nation for more than 60 years&rsquo. Katherine broadley, senior brand manager at heinz, said the new cans will &ldquohonour our british heritage as well as provide retailers with an opportunity to capitalise on sales in time for the big celebration&rdquo. The new designs will launch next month.
