the australian cormack innovation awards 2014 winner packaging for infant food allow to dispense the baby formulation without touching . the new design aims to reduce the contamination factor of the current design as well as making the process of preparing formula milk quicker and mess free. the shape is designed to allow the user to obtain a comfortable grasp of the product and proceed to dispense the formula with one hand when necessary. the sliding mechanism easily dispenses one serving size equivalent to one scoop from traditional packaging. the size itself allows the product to be more travel friendly and easier to transitions from at home on the bench to a maternity bag. the closure of the design reduces the exposure to the outside environment therefore minimising the chances of contamination. as all components are manufactured from plastic the product can be easily separated and recycled at the end of life stage.
