Jbs says it selected sealed air&rsquos cryovac® quickrip&trade easyopen bag for boneless fresh red meat applications with an eye toward minimizing yield loss and creating an overall exceptional experience in the premium meat category. The bag is said to enhance employee and product safety, improve backofhouse efficiencies, and reduce product waste.
The quickrip, implemented for the jbs aspen ridge and cedar river natural beef lines, as well as the 1855 premium beef line, offers a highperforming, easyopen packaging solution that eliminates the need for knives and sharp tools to open products in the back of house.
