german fine chocolate producer vivani part of ecofinia gmbh has chosen innovia films&rsquonatureflex&trade films to wrap bars of ichoc, its latest range of vegan chocolate. ichoc was launched at biofach and ism earlier this year and will be showcased at fachpack 2015 29 september 1 october on the innovia films&rsquo stand hall 7, stand 611 at thenuremberg messe. transparent natureflex&trade nk film is made from renewable and compostable cellulose wood pulp. the film offers barrier protection against mineral oil moshmoah, aroma and water vapour &ndash ensuring the dairy free chocolate remains in premium condition. joachim janz, innovia films sales account manager explained, &ldquonatureflex&trade nk is the ideal choice for this application as it provides not only the necessary barrier required for chocolate, but also offers good machinability for packing. customers now have the option of using a compostable nonmetallised packaging film to keep their products in premium condition.&rdquo the vivani ichoc range is available in four varieties white nougat crisp, choco cookie, white vanilla, almond orange. the raw ingredients are certified 100 organic, produced using rice milk instead of cows&rsquo milk and there are no artificial colours or emulsifiers added. andreas meyer, managing director of vivani ichoc, enthused, &ldquowe have put a lot of value on this. organic ingredients, fair wages for the supplier and packaging from renewable resources are intrinsically linked with vivani ichoc alongside production in a strictly vegan way.&rdquo
