The famous sant&rsquo anna mineral water brand is manufactured by fonti di vinadio. The aseptic packaging line was used for the packing of santhé, which is their new icetea range of drinks.
Thermoformed single serve cups of 200ml will be produced by the formfillseal pack line of bencopack that is available for consumption through an attached straw or directly from the cup by pealing the lid. Real tea infusion flavors like peach, lemon, and green tea will be available in 2x2 or 2x3 multipacks of the products. The appearance of the products will be improved by isa, because the labels are heat shrunk to the walls of the cup by the shrinksleeve process. In comparison to the traditional paper labels, this allows customized shapes as well as improves shelf appearance with brighter graphics.
The machine is preserved in presterilized and sterile conditions with by spraying steam and hydrogen peroxide. The packaging materials are sterilized inside a tunnel containing an overpressure of sterile air. The aseptic packaging technology of bencopack enables the santhé products to be distributed without the need for a cold chain. This allows them to retain excellent organoleptic properties with 12 months as the shelf life.
