With the successful debut of the southern edition, packplus south will be an annual event at hyderabad.when the four day packplus south exhibition opened on 1 july 2011 at the hitex, hyderabad with 270 exhibitors, 75 product launches, 160 running machines and several other attractions in place, a palpable sense of high expectation was evident among the exhibitors and organizers alike. For never before had such an array of exhibits ever been lined up outside of delhi and mumbai. When the registrations counters were finally closed at 330 on the last day, a half an hour before the scheduled close, the 12454th visitor had been registered and the late comers were still trickling in.
The exhibition had surpassed everyone&rsquos expectations.the show presented an opportunity to generate and secure new business prospects by establishing direct contact with potential customers, distributors, and representatives from the indian and overseas markets. Significant business in terms of leads and onspot deals was reported by the exhibitors. To name a few, avp papers reportedly sold its paper cup forming machine to sai prasanna paper products, hyderabad and akr industry sold its machine to srk industries hyderabad on the very second day of the show. The sale of the poly print machine from sun trading and pickfillseal machine from uflex ltd was also reported on the third day. &ldquopackplus has always ended on a positive note for us,&rdquo says sunny patel from kody equipments. &ldquothe quality of visitors coming from states like karnataka, maharashtra, andhra and kerala was very impressive. We have received several orders of our nuzen slitter rewinder and have enough leads to keep us busy for coming few months,&rdquo he added.packplus south witnessed visitors arriving from all parts of india as well as the neighboring countries. Coming from pune, g s bindra, bindra food craft said &ldquohaving heard a lot about packplus, we decided to visit the hyderabad show. And now we regret on missing all its earlier editions.

With the theme &lsquocost effective, innovative and sustainiable packaging,&rsquo the seminar focused on package converting on the first day and pharmaceutical packaging on the second.
The conference was inaugurated by sri v s raju, president, the federation of andhra pradesh chamber of commerce & industries fapcci, who lighted the traditional lamp and was joined by u.k. Saroop, reliance industries. Over 150 delegates from different sectors of the industry attended the conference. &ldquohyderabad, being a hub of pharma companies, was a perfect place for this conference.
