Zappar and Ketel One Collaborate to Launch Accessible QR Codes for Visually Impaired Consumers

According to Ketel One, these AQR codes are designed to enhance product accessibility for consumers who are blind or have low vision, providing easier identification and access to detailed product information.

The QR codes will appear on Ketel One’s bottled Espresso Martini and Cosmopolitan products from the company’s ‘Cocktail Collection,’ which are set to hit shelves later this month. The enhanced QR codes can be detected by accessibility apps such as Microsoft Seeing AI, Be My Eyes, and Envision.

Sanofi Leads the Way in Sustainable Vaccine Packaging, Eliminates Plastic Blisters

Sanofi, a global leader in healthcare, is making significant strides in reducing the environmental impact of its pharmaceutical products, with a particular focus on vaccine packaging. Currently, 39% of Sanofi’s vaccine packaging is blister-free, a move that saved the company around 130 tons of plastic last year. By 2027, the company aims to make all syringe vaccines across its entire manufacturing network blister-free, marking a major milestone in their sustainability efforts.

Tropicana reignited a 15-year feud with customers over its packaging design, slimming down bottles

This time around, orange juice drinkers are wary of shrinkflation, or product sizes reducing while prices stay the same. Indeed, while Tropicana has set the price of its new bottles at $3.99, about 70 cents cheaper than its old design, the slim bottles are still more expensive per ounce than the older ones in some retailers. At Walmart, the new 46-ounce bottles cost 7.7 cents per ounce, while the 52-ounce bottles retail for 7.6 cents per ounce. Consumers have taken notice of the alleged shrinkflation.

Red Bull brings resealable bottles back in Australia

The packaging – originally released in 2012 – will be offered in two varieties: Red Bull Energy Drink and Red Bull Sugarfree. 

A Red Bull spokesperson said fans of the brand around the world had asked for the return of resealable bottles, with Reddit posts including everything from “Red Bull bless us with this pls” to “I want the bottle so much.”

“They asked, Red Bull delivered.”

‘How disrespectful’: Walmart shopper notices something strange about Proper Good’s soup packaging

User @donuthole66 recorded his video from one of Walmart’s grocery store aisles, seemingly struck by the soup’s packaging. “What kind of AI [expletive] is this?” he asked.

“You tell me this is not made from AI,” @donuthole66 said as he showed viewers packages of Proper Good soup. “Probably produced by AI, too.”

The content creator then zeroed in on the package of the brand’s cheeseburger soup, which featured a picture of a burger on its cover. @donuthole66 appeared to take issue with the image on the label, noting that the food looked artificial.
