Bharat Biotech to roll-out intranasal COVID-19 vaccine at Rs 800 for private market

Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech has announced that iNCOVACC®️ (BBV154), is scheduled to be introduced in the country as a booster dose shortly. Earlier this month, Bharat Biotech received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for the use of heterologous booster doses of iNCOVACC®️.

The vaccine is now available on CoWin, priced at Rs 800 for private markets and priced at Rs 325 for supplies to Govt of Indian and State Governments.

Vetroplas packs Templespa’s latest skin solutions

Vetroplas has supplied the decorated glass packaging and droppers for two new skin care drops from British brand Templespa.

The It’s All Good Nutritious Boost Facial Oil is packed in a 30ml Elsa bottle with an acid etched frosted glass finish and silk screen printing. 

The pack is complemented with a Rimini pipette style dropper with silver aluminium cover and black TPE bulb. 

Meanwhile, the Light Relief CBD Skin Booster Oil comes in the 10ml slim fragrance bottle, which is sprayed the brand’s colour matched Pantone and is silk screen printed.

Bees move in at Romaco in Karlsruhe, Cologne and Steinen

Romaco receives support from animal workers. Just in time for the winter break, three bee colonies are moving in at the pharmaceutical machine manufacturer. At the locations of Romaco Pharmatechnik in Karlsruhe, Romaco Kilian in Cologne and Romaco Innojet in Steinen, up to 150,000 bees will be settled in the summer months. The beehives are housed on fallow meadows on the factory premises and are therefore in the immediate vicinity of the Romaco workforce.

In particular, Proseal will highlight how its machines are able to ensure seal quality and maintain product freshness while using the minimum amount of plastic necessary.

In the UK, Europe and North America, Proseal has been the driving force behind the replacement of traditional clam-shell punnets with top film tray sealed varieties, which reduces plastic consumption by up to 45%. With the introduction of non-plastic materials for trays, such as cardboard and the latest recyclable or home compostable materials, plastic usage can be further reduced by as much as 96%.

‘Most people’ find allergen labels unclear as precautionary labelling spreads confusion

When researchers from The Netherlands evaluated consumer understanding of allergy information on food labels, less than half of people found the messaging clear.

The study, published in journal Clinical & Experimental Allergy, involved two separate experiments with a total of 96 consumers with food allergies and 105 without.
